Fight Aging with Anti-Oxidants

No one wants to age, no matter how you look at it. Looking young is something that most people would love to accomplish. Let’s be real, everybody loves young and beautiful people. None of us wants to age. Regardless of the cost or risk, we all want to look young. There is a common misconception that beauty fades as you age. In fact, that is far from the truth, just look around you and notice all the handsome and beautiful mature people around you. If you learn how to maintain your beauty inside and out you will age like fine wine. Anti-oxidants are miracle molecules that will help you battle the aging process and help maintain a youthful appearance for a very long time. You might ask how do anti-oxidants help you fight the aging process.

Anti-oxidants: Your body is under a constant attack by impurities, sunlight and other damaging elements. While healing the body, we make free radicals. These free radicals are oxygen molecules without an electron. The function of free radicals is to scan the body for free electrons. Then the free radicals remove it from a healthy cell and destroy it. This is very harmful to the body and speeds up the aging process. Anti-oxidants provide an electron to these free radicals to stop them from destroying healthy cells. That is how Anti-oxidants defend us from the aging process.

Anti-Oxidants: how to apply them. Majority of the Vitamins are anti-oxidants such as Vitamin C, Vitamin E. Most of our vitamins we consume from the food that we eat. Beta-carotene is a type of Vitamin A, which serves as an excellent anti-oxidant. Carrots are a source of Vitamin A. You can also include supplements in your diet with a doctor's advice. Some Vitamins can be dangerous in higher doses, so please be careful and research any vitamin you plan on taking. Selenium and Copper peptide are also anti-oxidants. Some of these anti-oxidants are developed in limited applications and is applied to the skin to maintain a youthful appearance. Many Vitamin preparations are available in your local drugstore and beauty supply stores to help fight off any aging signs. Do your research and pick one that is made for your skin type. Consult your dermatologist and remember that anti-oxidants will help you win your battle with the aging process.

Also including anti oxidant foods to your meal plans, and snacks will benefit your skin greatly. I would add one anti oxidant food portion per meal time and snack time, gradually change your eating habits one step at a time. What seems to work best, is to have your healthy meals and snacks already prepared, do not give yourself a chance or excuse to not eat healthy. Your skin will thank you everyday when you look in the mirror.
